Issues with previewing animation 2008-03-10 03:20:16 Reply

Why is it that when I watch the .swf of my animation by pressing Ctrl + Enter everything works great like I made it but when I go to File > Publish preview > Default (HTML) the sound effects and or the music is off key??? *note* The sound fx and music layers are at the top of the layers list.

maybe your connection is week, or there are lag issues for some reason.

Connection makes no difference to local files, its pretty obvious theres lag if the musics off, just up the fps or stream the music.

of course you needed to stream the music, although if it worked fine when he tested it upping fps will not fix lag.

You should just be setting your sound effects to stream. click on part of your sound and there will be a dropdown box in the properties menu, set that to stream.

don't mess with your original or intended framerate, that's silly as someone who can handle the files will see it as being to fast and people with even worse computers will still see lag. Not to mention not streaming your music up file sizes by a rediculous amount. (i.e the amount of the song)

I'm cool now... Right guys?... Guys?
