only get CS3 if you're interested in gigantic flash coding applications and doing new things with actionscript beyond 2.0

besides that, CS3 is a bit of a scam.

flash basic 8 :((((((((((((((((((((((

cs3 is good if you don't have professional, but the interface is so screwy that I wouldn't be using it if it weren't for all the filters you can apply (same in professional.)
