try blender3d
I believe their site is blender3d.org , otherwise google it. It's a great open-source freeware program. Check out the samples on their site
Blender. It completely free but quite hard to learn, I'd recommend it. It also comes with a full game engine so you can make games on it too.

I swear every week you're trying something new that is way out of your league. Start small.
You've made numerous topics of stuff that needs a high skill level which you evidently haven't obtained yet.
Stop trying to make big, multiplayer 3D games.
i have given the multiplayer game a rest for a while untiil i get 3d skills up

The best part was when you thought you were good at flash.

im interested in 3d so if i were to try and get 3d animations into flash from blender how would i do so?
daz3d or maya are both very good..... although the enitial thing for them both is free but for upgrades and such yo have to pay
ever wanted to know how to earn money or get free games and gaming consoles visit my site to learn more.www.learntoearnmoney.webs.com
Ehm, that really depends though...
What are you looking for? An all-in program? Then take Blender, completly free!
Looking to start proffesional with more tutorials avaible for it? Take Maya or 3D Studio Max.
But if you're looking for something specific, please mention.
3d program to make a flash series with
i was thnking that i could have 3d characters with 2d backgrounds,

i thnk you've got that in reverse... unless your characters are unfeeling machines or something. organic/humanoid characters are insanely harder to animate than robots or... simpler characters
also, a 'toon shader, rendered to a series of .jpegs, then traced (via traceBitmap) is one way to import 3d, or... just toss an .avi into the movie player...
nope i meant exactly what i said i want 3d characters (kinda anime but actualy simpler) and ill just draw in the 2d backgrounds
oh my god, look what i made, and it took me almost 2 hours to learn how to do this
Look now, I might be wrong, but I think your expecting too much here.
These programs aren't just kiddy play, they're real, proffesional programs. You're asking for it, as if you just wanna make an animation and hit the top 50 with it. Cause seriously, it does sound like it...
First off, realize it's not easy to learn these programs! It takes time, patience en especially will. And of course, don't expect too much! Most people having 3D objects in there vid's or games are already quite experienced users!
But I might just be wrong, so again, just learn something like Blender and you'll be fine. You can always look for the Wiki page of Blender, it has lots of good tutorials, and very easy ones too!
Take advice. Try to read and fully understand the tutorials first. You can't just jump straight to work on your idea.
