I recently saw iLott's Newgrounds WindowsBlinds Skin, and I thought it looked pretty neat.
I'm not trying to compete, but I thought I'd take a shot at making a Newgrounds-Related skin with WindowsBlinds. Unfortunately for me, I only have the free version (cause I'm too poor to afford the full version), and everything is much more complicated than I thought it would be. It doesn't have the same display as the full version, and instead of showing everything neatly in it's own windows, you get this retarded version where many things are stripped down. (like buttons and radios and check boxes) All it really displays is tabs, buttons, progress bars, a basic window layout without anything in it, etc.
Now I haven't gotten very far. I've only done everything that will show up on the very useless preview. I haven't even started the start menu (yet), but I'm pretty sure It will end up looking quite nice. I also realized that there are an endless amount of assets involved in the making of a skin, ranging from tiny little 1x1 targa files to the start menu bitmap, so it might be a while before I finish.
As far as I've gotten, is this good?
