I was wondering if there is anyway to take wc3 animations (characters/spells/etc) and make them useable with flash? The way they look it almost looks like they should be able to become sprites somehow, but my experience isn't high enough to tackle this.
In a perfect world there would be a wc3 sprite sheet, but being as they are technically 3d animations I am willing to put in the work to make them useable for a flash vid.
Any help would be appreciated.
Oh and if this helps, there is a program called wc3viewer that lets you view all of the animations and convert them, but i am not exactly sure how to use it.
EDIT: (didn't see an edit button)
The wc3viewer program isn't specifically intended for taking the animations and using them in flash videos. Its real purpose is to aid in creating/editing animations for the custom map builder, but I thought it could possibly be useful for this purpose.
It wouldn't be legal to begin with. These animations are stored as 3d models so to get 2d just screen-record. Maybe you can look up someone who has done it.

Thanks =)
I'd figure your best bet is to record the animations and then import the video file into flash. After that, crop out the backgrounds and just leave the character animation in each frame of the movie. The export the animation s a gif with a transparent background. Then import those gifs into your flash.
It's kinda convoluted and it may not actually work, but that's my idea.
