Anyone use this software? Im trying it out right now and I was wondering 2 things.

1. A site that has Tutorials besides that site?
2. Does anyone else around here use it and or heard of it?

Ahh. I see. Tis would probably be good for Sticks then =P. The reason why I say this is because I want to animate something simple at first sticks or sprites.

they even used it to make the simpsons movie.

however as far as i know theres no way you can make games with it

there isnt much you can do besides animate, and honestly, i dont think it is better than flash, or more professional.

No, Simpson's is really made in ToonBoom. A lot of shows are.

Toonboom is a professional tool to make tv shows and movies. Its not made for the internet like flash.

I downloaded the trial, it's basically like flashes retarded brother. yes, it works fine and it's helpful, but there are no scripting capabilities and the program is pretty much tablet only.

the line tool doesn't have a "stick to objects" function

well its a program made specifly for animating professionaly, its not for making games, heres an interveiw with adam phillips who uses it for his commision work

im pretty sure the guys frightened that toonboom will overrun adobe before too long. I don't see that happening. Flashes place is and always will be the web. Without actionscript toonboom can't integrate into the internet community well at all.

Doesn't Toon Boom have cool stuff like 3D camera, inverse kinematics, and bones for animation? I'd say Toon Boom kinda roxors. I've never used it, though, so I'm going off of hearsay.

Finally, some sense has been injected into this conversation.
I highly doubt that, in the 30 day trial, you have been able to evaluate the entire feature list and campare it comprehensively with flash.
