Even if the school district were 'tarded enough to punish them for doing the right thing, the kid's parents would write a fucking note. If the kids are supid enough to brag about not going to school or not bring a note, they deserve to be punished.

I'm not sure about Parkland, but my school district actually allowed kids to stay home without receiving a cumulative absence.

well my school had a bomb threat written on the bathroom doors, and we still had to go to school. It said that theyd lay a bomb in the gym, the cafeteria and the atrium. And guess what happened? First we were called into an assembly in the gym of all places! then the police came with there hounds and inspected each student and their desk. Then after about 20 minutes of waiting in the gym, the police come in the gym and the captain tells us that the threat was a load of bs (not his exact words btw).

Well, if the threat was valid, the whole student body wouldve been blown away to bits in the gym. Shows u how smart the staff are. It wouldve been a whole lot safer to send us home. O_o
