I saw some Christians on the news protesting at the funeral of a soldier because the United States lets gay people into the army.

Therefore all Christians are evil and full of hate.

And you've probably got a compelling argument, I don't doubt that. I've never looked into Islam, so I have no idea what it's all about. I know that I probably wouldn't care for it just because of the lifestyle differences.

meeeeeeh, the way I choose to look at it is that theres no such thing as a hive mind. Not all white christians think as a group, so I personally think that you should judge a person by their actions, not their whole group. Though I miust admit, not all the muslims are terrorists, but all the terrorists are muslims :T

No, Thats only the crazy people. It just means they need to read up on what makes people gay.

I was thinking today (from an Islamic terrorists point of view :D) that these angry chaps who wish to commit terrorist attacks/wage a war on the West should really stop all this "They hate Islam!!"/"Holy war"/"Jihad" stuff, I reckon. Go completely political and secular, publicly at least, make it clear that they are opposed to continuous Western economic, political and social interference while completely de-religionising (not a real word, I realise) the whole thing and making very little mention of Islam. Would do there cause a world of good I think, completely stop dead the use of Islam as an effective tool to instantly demonise the cause as mental religious stuff and the people as crazy scum who just hate our freedoms. They won't, of course, cos they aren't as clever as me, but still, I'm rambling...

I would like to take this opportunity to point out to any authorities watching that I do not endorse the actions of the aforementioned peoples.

George Galloway's "Respect" party is backed by Islamist Groups. I know he doesnt like the USA but I suspect he has misunderstood his party backers when they say "Death to the West!".

Although the UK is technically at 0 Degrees Longitude we still count as members of the western world. If he understood this I wonder if he would deny their backing.

And I don't EVEN mean flying planes into buildings. If the OP knew how many human rights abuses are committed under Islamic Theocracies, I think his opinion would be vastly different.

But, those who commit those atrocities are a minority that also go against the teachings of the Koran.

Islam hater's tend to be idiots? Why make a thread about it, I thought it was one of those things that everyone knows from birth- kinda like the "don't put metal in the microwave" rule or the "don't set your pants on fire" rule.

I dispute that it is a minority.

And when you study the life of Mohamed, it's hard to say that the Koran teaches against such acts.
