When a loved person dies, it's a natural reaction to think "OH MY GAWD, I did something wrong". No, no no. Praying did not help her recover, praying is only a form of thinking maybe there's hope. And there was, but chance was against her.

I know what you're going through. Someone I knew recently died as well, and I felt exactly the same. But I found out that you can't blame yourself for it. Eventually, it'll get better, but you'll never forget. Don't apologize for something you didn't cause.
