Ironically, after watching the latest YKWB episode I started thinking about buying the AVGN DVDs. Kind of in two minds about it though, I mean $40 for both of them plus whatever P+P will be is not extravagant but it's quite pricey. Screwattack sure likes to whore itself all over AVGN though don't they? Even though they don't really have much to do with James, they just pay him I assume.

Oh yeah, the longest and best one yet. There are so many points I agree with him on, most especially the region code bullshit. That's the main reason why I'm unable to buy certain DVDs and resort to watching the videos on YouTube instead. The only point I didn't really agree with him was the skipping issues. I don't recall having that issue once.

They only became popular because of AVGN. You're right about him not really having much to do with ScrewAttack themselves. With the exception of getting paid, I'm starting to wonder why James is associated with them in the first place.

Screw Attack doesn't suck.
They are pretty good and have some really great content.
In all honestly, Screw Attack made the AVGN popular, not the other way around, Game Trailers made him famous.

His affiliation to Screw Attack may be a personal one, you never know, and he has no reason, not to be with them.

Actually, ScrewAttack are terrible, most especially when Stuttering Craig is running the whole thing. Their top 10 lists and video game vaults flat out suck with terrible humour and are a pain to my ears whenever I hear Stuttering Craig. If you know about the whole Stuttering Craig and Handsome Tom incident, then you can probably see why I'm a hesitant to like Screwattack. If you don't know about it, well you should really look it up because it's an interesting piece of internet drama.

What I know is that Stuttering Craig went to renew the copyright on ScrewAttack.com and left Handsome Tom off of it. Tom left and Craig went on a tirade on the Sidescrollers Podcast insulting him and giving a huge "Fuck You." Though I might be wrong but that's what I know.

Luckily Handsome Tom is moving up and beyond with TheGameHeroes (link below) and helping out That Guy with the Glasses by posting videos there. When Tom was part of ScrewAttack I always found him funnier and the more tolerable of the two.

Stuttering Craig essentially stabbed Handsome Tom in the back. Stuttering Craig wanted the company for himself and wanted to monopolize on it with or without Tom, preferably without it would seem. Tom has his own site now TheGameHeroes but it obviously doesn't have near as much attention as Screw Attack did and will never be the same.

I like Craig better as a host but Tom better as a person. Tom is nicer, more genuine and more funny. Craig is also really unfunny. Really, really unfunny.

So Craig is an asshole.

Well the way I see it, most fans of Screwattack probably won't even know about the whole drama fiasco that went down on the site. They'll just come there for the games and the videos and if they've actually been there long enough might wonder 'Hm I wonder where Handsome Tom went?' like I did. I assumed he just left of his own accord, but later found out about the whole incident.

I heard at some point he left ScrewAttack because of disagreements with Stuttering Craig, but I wasn't sure exactly what it was about. However, after doing a little research a while ago, I found out it was because Stuttering Craig backstabbed Tom and that was really low of him. I'm glad Handsome Tom left and created TheGameHeroes, which I've been meaning to look into further sometime.

Oh, and when ScrewAttack had a "Toilet Tuesday" series of videos, I really don't need to say anything about their content in general.

Because it was the top ten SCREWT+ATTACK MOMENTS' not the top ten video game moments, if you would have seen it you would have realized that it's that fat guy Jose that agreed to do it on a bet.

For the movie reviews, I've only heard his thoughts on Salvation so far just to know what he thought about the new film. I'll probably see this in the cinemas considering my dad is a big fan of the Terminator movies. I really don't like T3, I thought it wasn't as dark as the others. I didn't like the action much as well. I hated the fact that the Terminater said (near the end) "I'm Back", if that was at the start of the movie I would have turned the movie off.

I never saw him did that. In fact I think you only hate ScrewAttack because HandsomeTom had to leave for some reason, then you will disregard that it is a great website because your favorite guy left.

Transformers review

This has to be my favourite review of his this year so far, despite not being a fan of Transformers. I liked hearing his thoughts on the Famicon and reviewing a Famicon game for the first time. One thing, though, I'm hoping his next review won't be a tie-in to another movie release as that's what he's done for 4 reviews in a row now.

I totally agree with Bahamut. This was the first review, this year, I actually laughed at instead of just smirking occasionally. My favorite part being where the Nerd goes to sit down with the Famicom controller.

Not true, Terminator had me rolling a couple times. But it's all opinion.

Transformers was really good, it reminds me of his older reviews which is a good thing.

Nerd and Critic was also pretty funny.
Man, those turtles were corrupt.

I liked Milon's Secret Castle the most so far. As for his new review, I liked it. I'm glad he is going to start reviewing games for Famicom.

I liked them all so far for 09, except for the Odyssey.

I think we can all agree with your thoughts on the Odyssey. I'll admit, some reviews he's made this year I felt weren't up to his standards, but they were decent nonetheless. However, he's easily made up for them with the better reviews such as Transformers. :) And yes, I agree that his latest review did feel more like his older stuff.
