*face in palm with a sigh* Well the Irate Gamer released his newest video. Part 1 of the History of Gaming, and it only covered SpaceWar and Computer Space. Games made before 95% of the YouTube Users were born.
There were so many things wrong with this video, and the comments (I'll get to that).
1. He's been working on this video for 3-4 months, but it was 6 minutes at least. How the hell does that work?
2. In the time covered he could have looked at everything up to the Atari 2600 but instead wasted it playing downloadable versions of the games mentioned. Note, when you tell the history of something YOU DON'T REVIEW IT! Say I was teaching some kids about World War II, I wouldn't go on saying "While Hitler's strategy was clever and well-executed it was flawed in it's design, here's what he should have done to succeed"
3. Still too many unnecessary bits with special effects.
The comments however are a whole different story. He's actually responding to most of them, like he cares about his fans all of a sudden. But the bullshit he spews is astronomical.
At the end of the episode, Bores comments he's going to review the Magnavox Odyssey next. Obviously someone brought up that the AVGN reviewed the Odyssey recently, then he responds saying "I haven't watched his show in 2 years." He also responds to the rip-off claim by saying "People are just making things up"
Then someone comments saying Bores just read his entire script from Wikipedia and, I'm not making this up, he responds saying Wikipedia is for losers.
How dishonest can he get? He shouldn't be making videos on the Internet he should run for Congress, he'd win by a landslide. I'm surprised he allows comments on his videos at all, he knows he's just getting into deep shit.
