New review Dick Tracy is up!

My thoughts on the review, it was pretty good. The first half of the video wasn't so interesting, but it got better later on, especially at the end. o__O Very angry he was, but I still prefer NC's reactions at Bebe's Kids at the end of that review.

I wouldn't suggest he does that, unless he puts big warning messages at the start of his video saying it's satirical and isn't meant to be taken seriously.

The AVGN was angry from an angry person's point of view.

Dick Tracy was a very old school review from him. Just going over his childhood memories, theme song played in its original form, no gimmicks or anything, just ranting about an NES game. It was entertaining and informative as always, but not his best review in my opinion. I suppose he has a lot of fans that have been missing this sort of material from him, though.

I don't mind the skits, but some of the recent ones were pretty poor. Nice to take a break from them for a few videos.

Again, I don't mind other characters appearing in the videos, but I think James took it a bit too far recently. I'd say there should be no more guest appearances for a while, but if he's going to make video game reviews for Halloween this year, I expect other characters to appear in those videos.

Not the original Star Fox? I was thinking of getting that game first and then Star Fox 64. I didn't think of the other Star Fox games, but wanted to get the first two before getting the others. However, thanks for recommending those games. :)

Yeah, I wouldn't mind giving him some game review suggestions, but if he really has half of 2009 planned, then damn! Along with the games I mentioned before, I would like to see him review FFII. That game easily annoyed me within a few minutes, so I wonder how the Nerd would react to it.

Just watching these Godzilla reviews makes me think I should have gotten into this stuff years ago. Sadly, the only Godzilla film I've seen is the one from 1998 and really, I should watch the older films sometime. The main thing that interested me were the monsters featured in those films as well as Godzilla. Oh, and because of this Godzillathon, I expect AVGN to be reviewing Godzilla games very soon.

Out of all the reviews, I'm looking forward to the 98 movie and hear what James has to say about the movie. Of course, he still has a lot of movies to go through before reviewing that one, so in the meantime, I'll hear his thoughts on all the other Godzilla movies.
