I do agree with you. It didn't feel like a real review, but I still liked the idea of the fans suggesting quotes for the video. Some quotes AVGN said I liked, some I didn't like, but my favourite had to be the german quote. Besides the downfalls, this was a good one-off and it shows AVGN appreciates his fans.

AVGN should have just done the Deadly Towers video himself, it would have been funnier.

Oh yes I agree, it is a nice gift he did there, but what Delerium just said is true also.

Because this game didnt felt so bad and the insults were just random and this could been said for every game. I loved the part about: "Playing this game is like being assfucked with a PORCUPINE"

Angry Video Game Nerd: Battletoads

The Nerd says it's a good game, but he rants about the flawed two-player mode of the game, which explains why Kyle Justin (the guy who sings the theme song) is doing the review with him. I thought his part was really funny, and so was the entire review.

I thought I recognized his voice though, and the overall conversation and chemistry between Kyle and the Nerd seemed familiar. It sounded a lot like when Spiderman was doing a guest review. Do you guys know if it was Kyle Justin as Spiderman, or was that Mike Matei? Either way, I think I want more roles for Justin and less for Matei.

Battletoads is awesome, the furthest i made was level 5.
I´m going to watch that right now.

I believe Kyle was Spiderman. I wouldn't mind more roles for Justin in AVGN's videos.

I kinda saw what was coming when Kyle sat on the couch. I already knew you're able to beat each other in the two-player mode. I thought it would be something like that Kyle would suck so much at the game that he'd just start beating the Nerd accidentally and then the Nerd would revenge etc. Anyway, it was pretty obvious that this review was going to be about the two-player mode, but I never knew how badly designed it really was.

But for me, since I'm unfortunate enough to have not played the game before, I didn't know what to expect from the 2-player issues.

Meh, I'm just not that bothered. I might email him if I had more motivation. However, if I were to request him to review some games, they'd be Another World for Mega Drive/SNES, Warlock and a few others. The former is actually a good game itself, but I've experienced problems with the Mega Drive version and from what I've heard, the SNES version is the worst out of the lot. And Warlock, this is an obscure game I played ages ago, I picked it up and came across some annoying issues, so seeing the Nerd reviewing that game would be interesting. Also, I know the Nostalgia Critic reviewed this, but I'd like to hear AVGN's thoughts on Bebe's Kids.

I know one for certain that I want him to play and review.
