These facts you presented don't prove that Canada is dependent on the US.
It does prove however that we take advantage of how near our neighbouring country is.
If the US didn't require our resources, we would just export it to the rest of the countries that needed it. And the fact that the US doesn't export to Canada doesn't mean that they are more independent, it simply shows that the US doesn't have the required resources to have the opportunity such to trade with Canada. Thus making the US more dependent on Canada for it's resources.

I'd also like to point out cellardoor6, that you seem to be insulted when people reply specifically to your threads. You've accused many people on this board of being "obsessed" with you.
It just seems to me that you bring up good points to argue, and perhaps some people might feel intimidated by your rebuttals. I'm sure if other people arguing your point would have the same passion and intellect as yourself, they would get the same kind of attention.
