Honestly, one of the best, if not the best, artist on NG.

I think he's helped anyone and everyone who's asked, he's been an inspiration to me as well as others, he's consistent with his work, and he's an all around great musician.

If anyone deserves the award, it's gotta be him.

Is it restricted to 'non-Mods' only, or can Mods win it? If so, MaestroRage is gonna win hands down. Now, while that is not a bad thing, it might be seen as unfair by others.

I don't see why not, I mean, he's not an admin, he doesn't work for NG, just volunteer modulating. I think it'd be unfair to cut out the mods from the competition just because they're mods.

I'm pretty sure mods aren't cut out from the contest. Staffmembers might be (I would guess they are), but mods are just voulenteers, so it'd definitley be wrong to cut em out. :)

Yeah, I think I remember something about that when Newgrounds Rumble came out, and it was the best for the month, and since MindChamber was one of the creators, it was considered an "in-house production", but the prize ended up going to Luis (I think, I'm pretty sure), so I'd gather that it'd be the same here.

I'll toss in another vote for MaestroRage, he's probably the favourite, here, but with the quality of music he has, he's well worth my vote.

Aaaand another vote for MaestroRage as best artist of 07 (and it's totally not 100% obvious that he'll win. Totally not obvious.). He was incredibly productive that year, kept on submitting fantastic pieces- and the guy probably won more weekly top fives than he submitted songs. Fuck why do I need more reasons, he's good

I also nominate MaestroRage cause not only is he dead sexy, but the man can make a song, and make it well.

As the composer of the list, you cannot cast "half votes". Each counts as an individual vote.
