If Serbia keeps assaulting Kosovo, chances are large they indeed will. However, they then risk a second Cold War, since Russia supports the Serbian view and hasn't recognized Kosovo as a country. Combine this with the already great tension when it comes to the missiles and such in Poland. Worst case scenario is WWIII. But keep in mind this is an extremely bad scenario. I AM IN NO WAY SAYING THAT THIS WILL BE THE WAY IT WILL BE GOING, I AM SIMPLY STATING A WORST-CASE SCENARIO.
America sends troops to Kosovo to keep peace, Russia sends preliminary troops to Serbia. America asks Russia to withdraw their troops, Russia does the same. Both refuse. America stays in Kosovo to defend it from Serbian attacks, Serbia attacks Kosovo and uses Russian troops in their attack. America sees this as an act of aggression from Russian side and invades Serbia. America demands Russia to withdraw troops, Russia does the same. Both refuse, again. Americans threatens with reprisals if Russia does not withdraw from Serbia, Russia refuses. America send some warning shots with ballistic missiles in uninhabited lands, Russia attacks American troops in Serbia. America asks help of it's allies, Russia does the same. Result: WWIII, started by Russia and America.
Note that things might go differently and that this is just a basic lay-out for the beginning of WWIII.
However, in a best-case scenario, America, Russia, Kosovo and Serbia can work out things in a mature way.

This to me is not a surprise what so ever. The Ironic part is that they call us "savages" when they were killing women and children in the war in 1999, the Serbian embassy in Albania was barely touched and not just there but anywhere else in the world. If there was an Albanian found is Serbia right now, they would have been hanged. But there are thousands of Serbs living in Kosovo right now, they get their own tv channels.
It's all because Kosov's are fucking Albanians and want to be recognized as an Albanian Nation, and the Serbs are greedy, land grubbing Slavs that don't want something like this to damage their economy and shrink the size of their country (Lolz, Soviets, much?)

If so, they should have told Kosovo to wait until summer. That way the whole affair would've lingered in the minds of the populace till the elections. now chances are there will either be a next big thing in the media or all of it will have blown over.
