I was just fixing to say, watch out for retinal tears. But aren't those usually accompanied by a flash of light?

So that's what those things are! I see them sometimes, when...I don't really know, haven't seen them in a long time.

I see those all the time too, since I was 4-5 years old, I have always wondered about them.

The best way to get them is to stare at something bright, like the sun, for a real long time.
Works best if you use a telescope.

I see them everywhere when it snows and the suns out, its all so bright and white.
But yes, like most people, I always thought something was wrong with me, because my parents and brother, nor any of my friends I asked knew what on earth I was talking about. Always thought I was going blind or something haha.

Same. For a while I thought I was going blind, but strangely enough, an episode of Family Guy informed me of what they were.
I dunno though, I haven't really had them up until now, which is kind of scary. They also seem to be getting worse and worse... luckily I'm going to the optometrist soon.

Yeah, me too. It seems to be inherited as my previous family also had it.

Yikes, dude, that same episode is seriously when I realized I must not be the only one who sees them. Thought about mentioning that in my post but decided not to. Heh.

Isn't it natural to notice them, and then dismiss them as another one of life's little silly perks? Ever since I was a kid I have seen them, but as a guy said above, they are a lot darker for me and more noticeable, they never bother me though.
Also if your really bothered by them, never blink again.
