I used to be in cross country.

I didn't like it that much, I have more speed than stamina, so I took track instead, just sprint a couple hundred yards or something rather than run for miles on end.

I once walked my entire cross-country route. Took forty-five minutes, the teachers were pissed off that I managed to complete it in time without actually putting any real effort into it.

Cross country was stupid anyway. There was this Pakistani called Shehzad who used to try tripping over anybody who was white during the first two minutes of the run. And several members of the PE group would disappear down this road and go smoke for twenty minutes before returning into the run.

We were supposed to do three laps of the whole run. One time I only did two but managed to pass it off as having done three. This moron who thought he was a badass tried to threaten me into admitting to cheating, but I squared up to him and he fucked off.

Cross country is WANK.

Ignore the troll, you did great. I can't remember what positions I ever came in Cross Country with the exception of when I came last (when I walked the whole thing). But me PE group contained about forty or fifty kids so I never really cared.

I used to run cross country... but haven't since highschool.. now I'm scared I'm gonna turn into a fat blob who never leaves the computer :[ I really gotta start running again :/

But cross country isn't for everyone.. in fact it's almost for no one, why must people hate running so much? It feels so gooood :3

okay well cross country training doesn't feel good... it's pretty brutal, heh.

Freezing you say? We have -8 here, warmer than usual. People walk around with T-Shirts, go swimming, it doesn't seem like much of an adventure to me . . .
