Quick poll for you all:

If you were the President of the US, what would you do about North Korea and it's activities as of late?

*optional question*

Let's say that you were the also the President when Iraq invaded Kuwait. What would you do?

1) I would respectfully attempt peace talks with them even if were me alone. Avioding war is not a bad thing (unfortunately as we learn in our history classes Republican don't always see it that way).

2)When Iraq invaded Kuwait?! Well, first of all, there were lots of little things you have to look out for - we sold weapons to Iraq - next, we secretly sold weapons to Iran - blah blah blah (a whole lot of other stuff that probably hasn't been declassified yet). So, had Iraq invaded Kuwait and I were pres... I would demand reasons for invasion... let's face it - it's good to know when people in your neighborhood are having fights (using world as neighborhood, it's bad I know but just deal with me), if I didn't likee the reasons then I might request they withdraw to perhaps settle the matter without spilling blood. Of course where we were coming from was very strange at that time (I still don't understand it entirely).

I'd invade North Korea from both north and south with trucks full of food and transport farming equipment and trained farming personnel by sea, invading from both shores.

These people need to be fed, not slain.

Cheers,

They all deserve to die, crimes of the past. I wouldn't want to risk American lives in a war, I'd have to nuke their asses.

What gives you the right to give them death... not to mention don't you know what happens when a nuke gets set off?! Whatever was left would be insalvageable for decades, and whatever natural resources might have been there would be ruined. Did you ever read history with what happened with Japan? We had to develop programs to get them back on their feet. Not to mention if we start enough fights they could restart the draft (you and I Indig are in the age group that would be drafted, and I don't want to go to war... although if I were drafted I'd be happy to serve for the freedom we have here).

The fact that they fought with us in another war. The fact that they talk shit they can't back up. They also send their military pilots to intimidate our civilian aircraft.

Ok... I guess I can see where you're coming from, but how would you feel to be drafted? Oh and the whole economy boost thing I meant to mention... the boost only goes for as long as the war goes, the rest is up to population...

One thing, real violence and tv/video game violence are two entirely different things. But cudos to you if you really are ready to go.

trade them, food and other necessities for their nuke program to be destryoed... under the condition that the IAEA watches everything they do... AND the red cross distributes the food and necessities...

Done the exact same thing BUSH I did... get an international coalition, UN support and invade Iraq, and give Kuwait back to the Kuwaitis...

I'd leave them alone since they are not a threat to America.

Realise that I shouldn't have given Iraq weapons and money a few years ago. Well that was another president actually.

I dont think we should go to war with North Korea. But, I think the North Korean people need education and food. These people have been brainwashed, and cut away from access to the rest of the world. Kim, needs to be put out of power, I can say that for sure. But, I'm guessing these people back Kim, thats all they have ever known. But, I think we should avoid war with North Korea at all costs. I think we should be focussing more on the people of north korea though.

Hear, hear!! The idea is not to make America look like a bully, but a country interested in people's rights and safety.

Well, it isn't always in the best interests of the world to ignore a psychotic nation flaunting nuclear weapons and a will to use them on whoever they can. Of course, we could always turn the other cheek and just close our eyes when the mushroom cloud goes up over Japan or South Korea.
