rose tats on men...

I have a tattoo, and I REALLY want a rose tatto because--
I think rose tattoos are beautiful.

I have thought about that years ago and chucked that idea out when I said, "overtly gay."

However, I've seen some macho men with rose tattoos before. Heck... gayer ones, like a Tweety Bird.
So, I have re-visited this idea.

Why a rose?
Well, for those who want to know... roses are my favorite flower.
I grow dozens in my garden and take special care of them. My family knows how much I care for them and they don't dare cut them unless I do it for them.

It has all the readily apparent symbolism... Life... beauty...

But, do I like roses enough to tat one on me?
Well, I plan on something simple... no fairies and stuff like that.

But what message those this send to you?
"Gay"--
"Don't care"--
"Nice tat"--
or
"This guy is so comfortable with his masculinity that he's that kind of guy who wears pink..."

I'm thinking of two matching tats right above my armpits... below the shoulders.
