Ok reallly really minor update. other things are keeping me busy atm.. but Ive added 4 of his engine pistons and so far its holding up. there is a slight strain to the waist hydraulics, so I gotta figure out a way to reinforce them before adding the last two.. I want him to stand strong in any pose, and not just balance .
the pistons haven't been carved yet.. but the tops will be tapered in and cover.. as you can see they are hollow and full of foil

Dude, seriously, that's gonna be the sex. What'cha need to do is get moldable plastic. As you make each piece, make a mold of it. Once you tweak everything out, you'll be able to mass-produce the fabled MindChamber-bot.

you can make a mold with sculpty its self.
you simple press the piece into a mildly cold, smoothed piece of scultpy.

after that bake, make a reverse mold..
profit!

more easy rout would be mold it in a pose and make a resin figue.
can be some one poseable, depending on how many molds and joints one wishes to add.
but id my just a small statue mindchamber to set on my desk with the rest of my dorkie animator toys that sit up there
