ya.. its was news to me too.. the generic order form that came with it says something along the lines of "here are your missing parts" which makes me believe it isn't something they openly do.

basically I went to the store and bought another bionicle kit. and got 2 hydraulics out of it.
so I said to myself.. shit at this rate. Its gonna cost me almost 900 bucks to get 30 of these stupid things.
so I snooped around the lego site, and they had a replacement parts section, but when I filled it out for the kit I needed they only offered the amount from the kit, which was four.. so I called them up.
Told them I needed these parts but I needed 30 instead of 4..
they were like.. "Lol, K" and said it will be coming in the mail.
they cost me like a dollar each.. (piston, 50cents, rod 33cents, ballsocket 22cents) so I was like shit yeah

just out of curiosity I perched the chest on top of the spine and hydraulics, and it balanced just fine.

chest still needs more details which is not connected yet.

Also, it looks like a fish attached to legs.

I am sure both of those things will change when arms and whatever is added but I can't help but think those things.

ha ya, it was a new design choice I decided to make the radar fins on chambers back bigger.
hes always had them but they were much smaller. as for him being tall he never stands upright just happens to be this time since I have chest perched on top.
that last spin will be almost completely covered and there will be more of a arc.

Have you worked with this character so much that you have no need for anything to refer to? or do you like have sketches or preliminary work of the pieces you need to build and how they will fit.

Its kind of mindblowing if youre just doing this on the fly
