I can only garantee you the secret char. then id have something more to do this time around.
Actually in all fairness to myself, im much better at spritesets now. I struggled alot with that concept back when i was working on ngr and so mindchamber was able to run circles around me and make a man out of me. its not as gay as it sounds .. ok maybe

Yep, I'm still trying to figure out if I'll be able to afford it... My father offered me a job for the Fairmount Queen Elizabeth, basically Montreal's richest hotel. If I start working there I'd make over 20$ a hour... and will have my seat in the plane reserved.
I'll see ;)

What I may do is if anyone is looking to stay at the flat they can pay 20q or something for the bed... that seems fair.. then id atleast use that for my tube pass or something. and if people want to bring their own sleeping bag and find a space on the floor obviously that'd be free. *shrug* i dunno im just thinking out loud right now.
That sounds highly generous of you. It's funny to think back on it, seeing as I'm just a general user of this site, to have taken a chance to check out "Who are these newgrounders?". I recommend who's a bit slightly interested to go for it, you'll have a blast! Great fun had by all.
I'll be heading back to Hawai'i in May, so I won't be in London but I'll see what I can do to fund my trip. It would be great to meet up again.

ha! This guy, I spoked with him about meeting him for a day in Amsterdam, I traveled over to Amsterdam but I couldn't get any contact via phone or pm during my short stay. I fear something may have befallen him or he's one tough act to get in contact with.

Precisely why everyone who is going to be crashing at the flat should exchange mobile/cell phone numbers. Those meetingonthe main day should just be given a set time to meet up, and those that don't make it in time, give or take half an hour, unless they call another NGer before hand should be left behind. I'll probebly arrive early, do some shopping at Camden Market and all, before heading to the main meet.
Might I suggest a trip over to the riverside near the Houses of Parliment and Big Ben? It has a great noodle bar, anime style, and a MASSIVE GIANT ARCADE, and is walking distance from all of the decent shopping areas.

That reminds me, this may have been mentioned before, but whats the itinerary for the day?
I've just read some stuff about football and drinking.
Also, you can count CitricSquid (Sam) out of this. He's left Newgrounds.

London is one of the cities in the world I'd like to visit the most, so if the timing's right and if I have the money for the plane ticket, I'm definitely in!

I saw his face in the pictures. Hopefully he comes this year to London... I've always wanted to talk poker with him!

Definitely. I didn't really feel like taking the plane for the first time all by myself anyways. Let's do this!

I've just read some stuff about football and drinking.
Theres different itineraries for different days. The main meetup is on saturday (aug 30th)... the current itinerary for that is some football/soccer game ... im not crazy about it but it might be fun!
After that we'll probably wander the city for awhile, maybe have our trademark bumper cars battle and some sort of actionscripters vs. animators competition. In the evening usually we do a pub crawl of some sort.. and some people end up crashing at the flat and or carrying me home :P
it's still too early to tell whats going on the other days. Last meetup we went to a japanese place for dinner on thursday, then the ice bar on friday. main meetup was on saturday. and sunday it was just a chill day, let everyone recover from their hangovers... some people started going home and such.
If possible i'd like to goto the Tate this time around. I was supposed to go during the last meet but it just didnt work out. I guess it depends how many artsy people are in the group. I'd like to goto the Tate friday afternoon and for those that arent into that then we can catch up at dinner in the evening.. there was a pretty cool club near soho that Tom of the Superflashbros took us to last year, i kinda missed not going there in the last meet. it was fun.
For anyone planning to sleep at the flat on days other than saturday, you'll have to let me know. I dont have a terrible amount of space. I dont mind having anyone crash wherever they find space on saturday but on any other day i dont want to be crammed in there with 20+ people :P
Anyway for anyone interested in seeing photos from the previous meet go here youll get a good idea of what its like (sort of). I dont think the flat i have this time is going to be quite as large as the one we had last time.

Okay. Could probably come up for a day and a night, going home the next day. I have a couple of friends in London I could probably couch surf with if I ask nicely :) Looks very male and flash orientated though, would being female and having only one (old and crappy) flash in the portal put you off having me there?

We can pencil you in somewhere, but don't act like you've got that kind of sway on the team :P

What? I don't have THAT much sway over people here. It's not like I talk to two of the mods on a daily basis over MSN and have another one on speed dial...
Oh... wait...

Speaking of which, I was just speaking to Keith and he said he might bring his Xbox down so we could have a GH tourney or something.

No, I could bring down my PS2 and do that. I'd need a place at the flat though
If I bring down an XBox, I'll need a hand with Rock Band. Assuming it gets RELEASED over here by then

I dont mind people setting up their console in my flat, however do keep an eye on it. ie put it away if there is any sort of alcohol around. Someone always seems to spill something and i want no responsibility over someones 6600 dollar diamond studded ps3.

double post.
btw... do NOT bring up any sort of clue that there is any sort of gaming and or gathering going on during other days at my place when the thread in general forum is created.
I really want the max exodus of people to meet up on the actual meetup day at a public gathering area and in a place far far from where i am staying!
