Its as late as you feel like staying around. I think thats the beauty of it... the fact that if you find it too intimidating or akward you can just leave .. or if you want to spoon with people then you can stay till the end... whenenver the end actually is....

I would just get a zone 1-2 day pass just to make life easy. It all depends on the weather i think. If its raining then obviously will be doing mostly underground trips.

I've never tried it I live in the city but I've just got an eleven- sixteen one. With oyster cards after you get one you can top up from (I think) about fiver to over fifty quid.
