I know its early as shit to be starting this but I've been having some discussions and its good to get brainstorming and for people to keep it in the back of their minds. Theres some people coming in from far away and its always best to plan ahead for us!
I'd like for the next get together to be somethin a little bit different so that it keeps things interesting and fresh.

When: August 30th, 2008
Who: TBA
Where: TBA
Since this next outting is in summer, i was thinking that it might be fun to have a big 'football'/soccer game... i personally hate the damn game.. but I'd be up for it if other people were
Other thoughts that I had were taking a day trip outside of London.. maybe to a not so city like environment... for the sake of an example, for the mod meat this year at the NG office we were brainstorming the idea of going camping... that doesnt mean thats what i would want to do but its thinking outside the box...
K it begins... ill be bumping this once in a blue moon...

All in good time. This isn't due for another year, and it takes ages to sort out everyone who wants to travel that distance if they're coming from all over the world like they did for the last UK meet.
The UK meet seems to some reason end up being the second big international meet after Comic Con. I'm sure Lu's planning an NYC one in between, and it's not like you guys can't arrange one on your own without him.

Lu did say he'd like a day trip out of London in his post. We could always drag him up to the Peak District or down to the seaside

Wish I could make it there, but I can't afford it, and I have school to worry about.
Have fun.

I noticed, but I was too hurt to say anything.
But seriously: I don't think there are any decent photos of me from the last meet - nor was I there particularly long. Still no excuse as to why Kirk's not there though!
Never forget...

Song of the Firefly is on Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter. Give them a look and support the project!

Blackpool for the win! We even have a half-capsized ferry which I totally failed to get any photos of over the last couple of weeks.

Bullshit.
Anyway, i think It would be great to go somewhere like Blackpool (that's been said hasn't it?). I could probably manage coming, I'll have finished school so If i have a job i can't, but if i get into further education i could probably manage it :)
I'll nearly be 17 then so probably could come, however I'd have to persuade my parents. >;/
also I'm not much of a flash reg :(

Bumped...
Like Sam said, i'm not much of a Flash reg anymore, but i might be up for it. I'll be almost 18 by this time so i can't see it being a problem.
Few questions, a big game of football (soccer to you yanks) sounds excellent. Not on a beach though as someone suggested. It's crap on a beach. And i hate sand.
How long would it be going on for? I'll be back at college early September. Mid August would be better :(
Hopefully you have the vision of spending a night or two inside of various pubs. If your going for all this outdoor/scenery crap i won't be available i'm afraid :) But if the intentions are to get absoloutley slaughtered i'm more than up for it. You Flash boys will be watching a master at work :)

Try Weymouth, a nice and inexpensive seaside holiday town, roughly in the middle of the british south coast.
Even better, i live there, so i'll be able to come :p.
