The projects that Jack White has worked on have good track records. The White Stripes only announce Icky Thump after they had completed it.

I'm not sure what you mean by "they". Your examples are specific companies with bad track records.

Bad band names? I think it is a very good name. A raconteur is a story-teller and the slight lore and dress code they have created make them out to be a band of thieves - band meaning a general group of people instead of a musical group. I would like to hear a story from a thief. On their September 15, 2006 concert poster there is a quote. It says, "No matter the profession, the world admires exemplary skills even when it's punished."

Ah, Jack White, the opposite of Jack Black.

I like Jack for his interesting lyrics and voice. He also knows how to make all kinds of music.
