The media in Australia here are labelling them as the newest big thing to succeed Silverchair as post grunge front runners. Have anyone heard of them or their music before? I heard their newest single snakeskin on their myspace and so far it hasnt disappointed. your thoughts?

Post grunge... why are there so many sub-genres in music these days?

It's 5 again, the air is thin.

i duno? but i guess its the media's way of labelling certain people and make it differnet so hence more popular?

Yes Australia is that country down in the pacific.

I just heard of their new single snakeskin, its pretty good, but is less grunge then i thought. Its more a rocky and whiny version of switchfoot. Does anyone agree?

I dun mind sub genres except the new pop emo stuff. that really gets it to me and it sucks balls...so poppy. I guess this is one of the reason why im kinda into gyroscope atm. Not a poppy poofy band like FOB or GC
