Gang trying to Make me join

Recently every day as i walk to my House from my High School ive been stopped by a Latin Gang(I Live In Florida-Miami) called Ms13 they offer me a smoke and say wanna join? As being a sensible American i reject them and carry on walking but the request are increasing and increasing i should really tell my parents but that would make them raise awareness on me and i seriously don't want that because im in enough shit already. Im sick of these low life punks trying to make me join what should i do?
