Yea, but opeth is a progressive metal bands with death metal vocals and heavy parts thrown in, and necrophagist are a death metal band. Neither can be comparable because they're in completely different genres. Great bands, tho.

But, if people want a better power metal alternative, check out grave digger, if you're willing to ignore the annoying vocals, and also, blind guardian. Both are way more talented and better examples of power metal than dragonforce. Hell, i'll even recommend iced earth, tho i'm not a huge fan of them.

If you guys say that Dragonforce sucks then why did Steve Vai invite Herman to play by him? Sure ZP is bad at performing and so is Sam, but Herman play wit his freaking tongue occasionally.

By the way, ZP, Herman, and maybe Sam made another band (demo band or whatever) called Shadow Warriors. Based all about ninjas! I have to admit it's is kinda crappy though.

ORLY? He's bad? Weird because guitar player magazine, guitar world, and eric fucking clapton all recognized him for being a superb guitarist.

It's my experience that if you lime Dragonforce, you also thought 300 was the sickest movie ever. Spectacle, even in music, does not equate to skill or entertainment.

Ok ,ok, ok. Bottom line: Dragonforce has cool sounding music I'll admit it, but Herman Li sucks and can't play his own solos. And who is that other guy, Sam Totman. Like... no one ever talks about that guy. Huh?

I think Guitar Hero should use a Dream Theater song next time, and maybe all of those kids would be talking about a band that only needed one guitarist!

DragonForce happens to be one of my favourite bands. They have great songs, like Revolution Deathsquad and Through the Fire and Flames. I heard about the band ages before Guitar Hero 3, but I kinda stopped listening to them. When I saw TTFAF on GH3 recently, I was quite suprised. Now I started listening to them again, which brings me to that proves the point. I was sitting next to my friend on the bus with my MP3 player, listening to DF. My mate is all like let me listen, so I give him one earphone. After listening to a few songs, TTFAF comes on, and he's like "I didnt know you had DragonForce on here' I was like 'WTF is wrong with you?! That was all DF dipshit.'
