Back in Februari 2007 briefly before the movie In Bruges was shot I received an invitation folder in the mail asking me if I'd like to play a role in this movie as a figurant or more than that. All I had to do is attend a little audition to see if I could act well on the set of the movie and then I could've been starring alongside Colin Farrell and Ralph Fiennes, I would have met them talked to them and it was my ticket inn in the movie industry.

MY TICKET INN IN THE FUCKING MOVIE INDUSTRY AND I JUST LET THAT AMAZING OPPORTUNITY PASS BY JUST LIKE THAT ALL BECAUSE I HAD EXAMS FOR FUCKING ART SCHOOL.

The inviting folder said it was a comedy but now it turned out that it's an action slash dark comedy film (I'm not a big fan of comedies that's why I didn't take the movie seriously) but now that I saw the trailer and soon the entire movie I can only feel genuine regret...

From now on if a role interests me I'll do an audition, even if it's in a dark comedy annex action flick I'll still do it per se. But this was just an opportunity that you don't see everyday and I just left it out in the cold.

I can't put into words how I feel about this, but it comforts me to know that there are trillions of other opportunities for me out there only this time I was so close to getting my name on the credits of a big budget movie.

About the movie, it's similar to Snatch and other Guy Ritchie films. Think of Snatch and you'll get a good view on what the story is like in In Bruges.

Wow, that movie seemed a lot cooler than I thought it would.

Ah well, I regret it but it's not the end of the world. But I know that I let a lot of chances pass by, could've met those actors, it could've changed my life. Now I should focus on other opportunities.
