Here's a post to express the yay factor I feel inside despite not having played the game at all and knowing nothing about it's fabulous environments and eventfilled wonders and AI characters who play better than the players themselves . . .
I thought it was incredibly boring and I couldn't get into it. Same goes for Oblivion. The combat system just feel slow, all the pointless talking was annoying, and there was to much walking through heaps of nothing.

The fighting system was rubbish, that is why oblivion is like 4,000 times better in every way.

Killing Vivec. It was a run and shoot battle, and I was down to 2 HP when I stabbed the fucker in the face. Then there was the pain of loosing 500 HP permanently...

I remember the first time I played all I wanted to do was steal shit. I walked up the road from that first town and stole a bunch of guard clothes then walked around like I was one of them.

Great game, I'm making my way through Oblivion atm though, I'd say it's better for a number of reasons. Morrowind was heaps of fun as well though, I modded it from the start, gave myself a one handed spear, gave it about a 100 attack, downloaded a few mods and made a somewhat Spartan outfit and had fun destroying everyone.
There is nothing you can name that is more delicious and awesome than Subway.
