I've got one more piece of animation to make (crashing into the building) then it's just organizing the timeline, placing skies and clouds, deleting all the unused symbols, save + compact, send, and DONE!

Alright. If you notice the little stars, you'll see that Shortmonkey and adman1993 haven't updated in a while. That won't do.
adman, all we've seen are some stick figures.
Shortmonkey, you have a half-finished tweentastic dance scene that doesn't even flow with the rest of the animation.

If you guys don't show us some progress, you're off the collab. Hell, I'm willing to kick both of you off right now. You've had OVER TWO MONTHS TO WORK ON THIS. Catoblepas arrived late and was one of the first to finish - it's not hard. >:(

When they get kicked off, I'll extend the deadline for the two people that take over. For the rest of you - the May deadline still applies.

Shortmonkey has sent me his .fla but for reasons unbeknown to me, I'm unable to open it for some reason. He's gone on holiday/somewhere for a couple of weeks, so what I suggest we do is get someone else to do the part. I don't mind taking it as the collaborator.

To tell the truth, I'm wanting to take over for adman. :D Big suprise, right?

I know it's not fair to take more than one part, but it's gonna bug me forever if I don't try to make SOMETHING...
And since it would be made just using the line tool, the selection tool, paint bucket, gradient transform, and maybe the subselection tool, as well as being almost entirely shape tweened, I'm hoping it'll be a quicker process than usual. Oh yeah, and I'm going for the Al Hirschfeld look.

BUT FIRST, I need to finish what I started. :P

I started animating on monkey's music part thing... I've thought up this perfect transition, where the character of the guy next to me is killed (blown up BIG TIME) , thus making him go to heaven/hell in his movie...

Expect an update tomorrow or so :x

In other news, some questions from Whirlguy:

1. The menu is 550x400, but the movie is going to be 550x460 right?

No - it will be 550x492. There will be sig pics on the top and bottom. After being resized, they're 46px tall each. So if you could make the menu 550x492, that'd be great. Then when the movie starts, the sig pics slide down into the frame and keep the actual animation at 550x400. See the pic for a diagram :P

I was wondering how we were going to fill up the bottom. That reminds me, is there going to be a mini menu while the movie plays?

I think that's a good idea.

2. I was thinking people could post their 150x150 pic for in the author bios with a bit of text in the thread. So I can add it to the author bios.

Sounds good - go for it, guys.

3. And also a pic of 55x40 for in the scene selection, but maybe we should wait with that.

Yeah, we'll get screenshots or something.

4. I will replace the random facts to display the audio artists that the animator worked with at the author bios.

Why not divide the author bios into two parts? I want musicians and artists to get equal recognition. :D

You made two parts. The first two were just your part before you took into account the criticism. As a result, they are WIPs.
