First of all, there is no 4GB Ram stick.
You'll need at least two sticks of RAM in order to get 4GB's.
And then, you'll need at least a 64bit OS in order to run 8GB's of RAM.

PS: i am very well aware of the DDR3 RAM is at sale but, i could not choose them for a strange reason :(
