which software is better? 2008-02-10 02:10:12 Reply

Photoshop or coreldraw? I'm thinking of getting one for making such nice drawing in my flashes and I suck at drawing, so i want the software that suits for a guy that sucks at drawing... if there is another software better than these, tell me.

It really depends on what you want to make with it, but I'd say Photoshop. Corel Painter is more of an answer to Photoshop than Draw.

ms paint is pretty awesome, although I hear that pronmaker 3000 has extra features.

Get Gimp 2, it's as good as Photo Shop and freeware, atleast try it out before you waste money on photo shop...

I personally hate Photoshop. I think it should be left for image editing, not image creating. I don't like anything about the way it works.

I use Alias Sketchbook Pro, Art Rage 2, and Corel Painter.

I also hate Corel Draw.

In my opinion, Photoshop. Coreldraw seems like crap from the short ammount of time I worked with it. There are other good alternatives to though, like Illustrator and Fireworks. All for different purposes.

Photoshop - Photo manipulation
Fireworks - Layouts/Banners/Etc
Illustrator - Vector Art

Is this even a question?? PS.
But you should ask differently, Illustrator or PS. Cause PS is more for photos and their effects.
Illustrator is for drawing.
