I have a great idea for a political change......in many towns each weekly meeting has a citizen come in and speak a/b whats on their mind,so why dont we do something similar with our national government? Also, who says that once Bush gives his opinion on something we all have to do that thing..... its not like it was made a law yet...some people dont know what freedom of speech means

no problem, but i live in rhode island, SO hook me up with a ride to DC to give the prez a piece of my mind... same thing with millions of people in california that cant afford the ride...

this may sound dumb but it is true... on the west wing re-run the prez says 'whenever i make a comment about something it starts a national debate, im a one man starting gun' now whether you like it or not, its true... the prez says something and the media picks it, people watch the news and form their own opinion instantly, and let the discussion begin... whenever the prez says something it becomes open discussion... freedom of speech was set up so political opponents of politicians would not get in trouble for disagreement (before anyone flys off the handlebars, i use freedom of speech/expression for just about any defense... my thoughts are do what you want, just dont hurt nobody else...)

Ok that idea works in small towns for the reason they are small towns. A country with a population of approx. 300 million, that would take an offly long time, and be offly expensive.
