Actually (and this is a fact), corn changes it's internal sugars to starch when it is cut, because it fears the sugar will biodegrade before the seeds can sprout. I have an aunt that grows corn, and fresh corn is quite a bit sweeter than storebought. Also, I have seen this on several cooking shows. That's a first hand source, and a second hand source. It just doesn't get better than that....

Let me explain something to you. Cows and chickens serve no other purpose on this planet other than providing other creatures with food. Cows require vast amounts of grass and pollute the environment with methane. They're stupid, slow moving, and meaty. All evidence shows that nature intended for cows to be killed and eaten. The same goes for chickens. They're stupid and they spread disease and they can't fly. They're the prey of choice for dogs, wolves, foxs, and other such animals that have access to them. Don't we have the same rights as dogs?

Oh get your wording straight. We don't care about animals, we care about our own species. If eating it, controlling it, or toturing it can help us in any way, then we do it. That's just how life is, no questions asked.
