NOTE: I'm not talking about the user.
Sarcasm is just a failed attempt at being funny, mostly because the humor is unoriginal. Someone asks something that may be obvious, then someone else goes 'No, it's something else' or whatever. Anything can come to mind in place of that 'something else', and most of the time, it's either overkilled or just not funny.
Or if you're sarcastically acting out or saying something, it's only making you look retarded, even if you end up telling someone you're being sarcastic.
TL;DR: sarcasm fails at humor.

Sarcasm can be pretty damned funny.
It's just not funny when people don't use it right.
If someone asks if you ate earlier and you say 'No, I've gotten this far in life without ever having eaten anything' then you're just being an ass.
If you're climbing something really high and someone says 'Don't fall' and you respond with 'Thanks for the excellent advice' then it can be funny.
Basically, funny people are funny. Other people aren't.
It's pronounced Rag-el you fools!

Sarcasm can be funny, if used at the appropriate places. Usualy though, it's not, so I agree with you. It's just irritating . . .

If sarcasm wasn't used so often by fuckfaces it wouldn't be so bad, but because it's heard and used fucking daily it's become shitty and unfunny. I honestly don't think I've ever made it through a full day without someone being a sarcastic twat, there's no escaping it.
