4.07 / 5.00 10,082 ViewsI was drawing for my next game (still nto named yet) and I made everybody red, and it took me a very long time to realise that the other guys will be red so I need a new color for the good guys.
So I came up with three different colors.
So which one is better?
Good.
Good.
It's not the color, you should spend more time on your drawing
and practice alot
You're characters are too basic, you shouldnt worry about colour yet, work on your line work.
Heres a quick example I drew, the body should have more shape and act more defined.
i like the green, and it will go well against red

My game will have a ton of units on at once,
so more detail = laaaaaaaaaaaaag.
Good.

well, it can be simple and well-defined.
my recommendation is use the line tool, and bending it. it lags less* then a brush stroke.
*well... kinda. a scratchy brush stroke, then yes, its a noticeable difference.
You should go with all the colors for different teams or players or whareva. Just work on the detail on the characters. Try to give them legs and give it more effort. This is to basic. Here is an Idea incase you need a one. Anyways good luck.

Line tool is a pain in the ass.
Good.
i like green but i think you should work more on detail and shading. things that make the characters in general look great not just the colors
