Yeah, SpamTheWeb seems to be the best dev-uploader for the moment (for me, anyway). The problem with these things is always in becoming too popular and getting abused / hacked, though.

My thoughts exactally. I'm not even going to bother trying to use it - saves me the hassle of going "Oh its down, too spam the web."

Its been moved to a new server (99% uptime), and its not going to be redesigned.

99% uptime? That sounds like a shared server's "promises". Usualy about 80-90% uptime... Until you use a bit of bandwidth then you get booted. If I need to upload something in a hurry to show someone, I guess I will probably use it though

Thanks, I guess. We'll just have to see about the uptime.

I'll be using it. The short url and simple design mean it's easier to use than imageshack.us, and the likes. Hopefully it should be kicking around for a while as well :)

Hmm, this might be considered a small detail, but the way that the the URL is built it's really easy to just enter a random number and you can end up finding stuff that people has marked as private. Maybe you should add the name after the id (like I believe that you used to do), something like: /view?file=1337_gamename
That will make it much harder, almost impossible, to find something that people don't want to be shown to anyone which they haven't personally given the link to.
The site looks cool though, I like how it's much more simple now :)

Actually, one suggestion. Maybe allow more file types. I don't see anything wrong with allowing pretty much anything that isn't a .exe or .zip/.rar.

Well fun thing is when a file uploader allows you to upload HTML , Java... etc type files you can actually do anything you want with the website if its not properly protected.
