I'll admit I like the dragon but sometimes it throws me of if you make the mouth like a gator. Still nice practice I'll give you that. How bout trying it in an angle instead of a side veiw giving it a more emotion to it like If angled at the corner of the upper screen looking slightly to the screen with a mouth open wide people will think. His he pissed off, is he going to kill someone, etc. I study art books for a while and if you get it to an action angle you will be surprised on the support.

I think this has good potential, if you were to sit down and draw it again but put about 20 more minutes into it, it would be fan-freakin-tastic. Also, I don't know if it's your scanner, but don't be afraid to press hard with the pencils. Like Cyberdevil said, I'm wondering if you could make a dark outline around it to make it pop.

Where's the rest of the dragon? The shading is nice, but this thread could have been called "Dragon's Head" rather than "Dragon", I was expecting the whole thing...

I like it but you need to make the mouth longer. It looks more like a lizard dog to me. Ebverything else is good love the shading.
