Yet homosexuality increases likelihood of contracting aids. Are gays to be banned from places?
I sincerely hope that gays aren't having sex on resturant tables where you live. Especially if you live in the same city I do.
Being skinny and eating certain foods is dangerous too; should we just ban unhealthy food? Non-professional skateboarding is unhealthy AND doesn't contribute to society.
Skinny isn't a problem. Anorexic is, and there should be more "don't starve yourself" ads flying around. Unhealthy food generaly causes obesity, and I sincerely hope that people aren't giving themselves fat injections where you live. That just leads back into the main argument. But I'd have to agree with you on the non-pro skateboarding.

Why does everyone find it necessary to villainize certain groups in this country? religion, race, country of origin, patriotism now your weight!?
Fat people never hurt me, neither have most black folks, or jews or homosexuals or rich people. they are not second class citizens.

Except for Jews.
You give Jews equal rights and BOOM!
We control the world.

Fat people can eat and do whatever they want, wherever they want, no problems.
They just don't get covered by Medicare/Medicaid when thier wieght starts to lead to health complications.
Cover them. Just not for any problems a doctor contributes to the weight itself.

They won't refuse coverage ever... They'll just jack up your rates beyond belief.
They work on probability, and fat people are far more likely to die earlier than healthy people.

upgrade of the gearing and electronics of devices for lifting and lowering people (like for those coffins again),
Have you ever actually been to a funeral? There is no specialized machinery for lowering a casket into the ground, it's just straps and pulley's, that's it. Actual lifting machinery such as elevators and the like are already built to withstand excess loads, check the capacity plate on the inside the next time you're in one, it should be right around
recalculation of stadium capacity dependant on max structural loads,
Oh yes, God forbid a few people might not get to have their beer and hotdogs at the game. That would be such a shame.

What do you define as FAT though? The Body Mass Index (which is what this bill is going by) does not take into account real world factors such as frame size or muscle, and it certainly doesn't take into account the actual health of the Individual.
Case in point; studies have shown that people well within the range of a "normal" bmi number are actually MORE PRONE to heart disease than their overweight counterparts.

Hey, being specific only as far as giving some examples here. Just talking about knock-on effects; next, herses or kilns not being wide enough. And perhaps before that, firefighters being unable to effect timely rescues on ladders or stretchers. And so on and so forth.

Yet it's not the gross out factor, remember? It's about "consumer health".
Skinny isn't a problem. Anorexic is, and there should be more "don't starve yourself" ads flying around.
So, should there be laws against selling diet supplies to extremely skinny people?
Unhealthy food generaly causes obesity, and I sincerely hope that people aren't giving themselves fat injections where you live.
No, foods high in calories cause obesities. Foods high in cholesterol, fats, etc. just plain kill you.
That just leads back into the main argument. But I'd have to agree with you on the non-pro skateboarding.
So do you support banning people from riding skateboards?

For all my hatred of fat people, i'm against this. If people want to overeat and kill themselves with fat, sugar, and cholesterol than that's their problem. It doesn't mean we should call legislation against them.
