So I decided to post that in my userpage first, and then get this off my chest. After this, I'm taking a vacation.

Newgrounds is a website with upwards of one million users. They aren't all going to be hardcore internet masters who jack off to cartoons and know what a furry is. The users that the people in this thread are disowning are those who only use the internet casually. They don't know who the fuck Mechabloby is, and they certainly don't care how much Gagsy loves yaoi. Just because they aren't on your MSN contacts list doesn't revoke their right to enjoy the BBS.

I'm sorry, but your propositions seem completely unreasonable, and some of them might even by impossible to implement. You're not interested in the well-being of the Newgrounds BBS, your only concern is to cater only to the well-known BBS regulars with post count to spare! We need reforms that look out for the common, everyday BBS user!

Well, the BBS isn't exactly the place to go if your looking for a 100% dignified chat about some very important things such as politics. most of the users here are here to do something fun, like make fun of a video game, talk about a weird or unusual occurence, like that poor man with the warts all over his body. Or a movie that was less than perfect. When people start to get serious on threads such as these, things get warped, masses get flamed, others instigate retarded behavior, and some just post to get a post added.

Before I get all carried away about stuff, let me just say that Ashfords account page does look like he is an emo from myspace or 4chan, just because he wrote the letter and stuff. But since he's still posting, I guess he was just venting or something. So to the average Newgrounder that comes upon that letter, would instantly think you have issues, as you still are an active member of the forums.

Being more of a lurker than a poster, I tend not to get these unfair bans that many users often complain about. Mods deleting/locking genuinely funny threads that myself and other users are obviously enjoying reading or contributing to in favour of shit ones about girl troubles, however, does get on my nerves a bit, so I certainly agree with you in that respect.

One thing that has bothered me for a while now though, is what happened one time a few months back when there were a couple of threads similar to this one. I scrolled down, to check if someone i was PMing at the time was online, and saw that Tom Fulp was an active user. When I went to check how the discussion in those threads was coming along about a minute later, I found that they had all "just been deleted, or never existed in the first place." I just find it strange that the most intelligent threads on the BBS (that also contained what users believed to be examples of mods being unfair, if i recall correctly) at that time were all deleted the moment an admin came on.
