Fix these.

Better moderation, please. Less bans to regulars, more bans to snot nosed kids overtly breaking the rules. More warnings, less bans. They're being dispensed so liberally that I don't even care anymore. A lock and a warning should stop anyone with half a brain. I don't like being, according to a majority of you, one of the funniest users on the forum who has been banned for sixteen days out of the past thirty days. Evark, your thread disgusts me. I gag a bit evey time it's bumped. Quit passing the buck and do a better job.

Fewer mediocre threads, please. Good threads are good. Spam threads can be funny. The middle of the road shit has to go. The rules are quite clear on the matter, "if you don't have something interesting to discuss, don't post a topic!" We get thread after thread after thread about kids doing boring shit in their middle school or talking about the same lame video games over and over. Crack down on these. Nobody cares.

Get rid of stats on the forum, please. I can tell that a majority of the users here are trying to gets stats or reputation, or, God forbid, set out to become a mod. All this causes is +1 posting and new users acting like idiots because they feel the need to act tough. Leave stats in the userpage.

Stop trolling, please. I can't even tell if people here are trolling or just idiots yelling towards a very excitable crowd. If someone says that rap sucks because it's gay, we don't need a three page thread about it. You shouldn't post in it and mods shouldn't allow it.

I think we should elect some "fun" mods for a change. Not mods that have contributed to stat threads, but mods that know what's funny, know what's been done, know if the joke is dead, just know what's FUNNY.

Actually, I agree with you, and not because my ban was just lifted for posting in a lolcats thread. However, I will leave you with this um... borrowed.... demotivator that I believe describes what moderation on the BBS boils down to.

I wholeheartedly agree, especially about Evark. It seems like they make a habit of banning people for being angry about the state of the BBS, then make a thread to whine about the BBS.

But the fact that someone has been here longer usually means that they've learned where and what to post, so they have no need to be abusive...

I did read it all, and i do agree with you, on most of it. The only part I don't really agree to much with, is the picture thing. Sure it would be alright sometime, if it's original, and actually funny. But most of the time, its not.

And I think they ban so easily, because thats there way of saying, we don't want knew people here that are just go to spam and be little morons. It would just be easier to lock account making, but Toms too nice for that.

Complaining about the BBS has been done correctly now. The bans given to regulars have been marked as "they should of known better as they've been here longer".

Pretty much got to "No trolling" and stopped caring.
