Yeah, that's probably what they did! And I think most of the covers used the same technique. Except maybe for Milo Manara.

Hey, just a few suggestions (though I am by far no authority on the subject) . I think it would look more photorealistic if you added some highlights to her skin, and to the dragon scales. Also, I think if you just resized her mouth to be a little smaller, and eliminated those lines coming out of the edge of her mouth, it might give her face a better shape. Also, her right cheek seems to bulge outward just a little too much, giving her a kind of heavy-jaw look that you might want to tone down (I suggest maybe looking up to see how appearances change when people get a face lift, and that might give you a better idea on how to make the face prettier). I respect your patience and open attitude towards suggestions. Keep up the good work!

oh damn you ReNaeNae, nah jk... I think i've got a near finished picture.. amazingly I fixed all of the problems "TiredGuy" had mentioned before i read the post lol... but thanks to him anyway..

and also Dasneviano thanks for the feedback, i resized the character and HM logo.

I've just sketched a perv rabbit checking her out in the background, and I was thinking whether there's still room for the Mad Hatter as well. I'd love to include him!

You know what might be pretty cool, is if you used that pose, except with a more intense look on the girl's face, and have the guitar shooting out electricity everywhere or something, like she's using it as a weapon, and have stuff in the background exploding.

alright cool, thanks for the feedback, I noticed the same thing with the hair... and about the mouth being open, i kinda wanted that look, but still didn't get what i wanted... but will fix it,and i've already worked on the hair shading.

I like SWiTCH's a lot of the completed entries. It's really simplistic and stuff, which I guess deviates from the point, but it rules nonetheless.

Darx her skin tone is a bit flat try to give her some highlights so she pops up more and the face is looking much better tho that puffy cheek makes her look pudgy and wierd. the dragon and everything else could use more refining guy, take the time and paint paint paint and it'll be worth it in the end we still have till march 10th no?
