I updated the color,she will shrink and I'll introduce other charatcters in the composition, badass characters to make sure my submission goes ridiculously badass.

I work today which means I wasn't supposed to touch this. Unfortunately I couldn't sleep. So then I got into getting this done, and didn't go to sleep even though I was tired hours ago. Had to force myself to quit mid brush stroke.

Not much time now, I´ll be brief.
First of all, I FAILED. It was too much for me learninig to paint digitally at the level I needed for my idea to come out successfully. I´m deepfully sorry. But I won´t abandon my hopes of mastering it, so I´ll keep working on it.

Curiously enough, An article about "Metal Hurlant" fell in my hands last weekend. After reading it and some of the comics it mentioned, I decided to make a picture fast (HAAAH HA, haaa... Fool of me, I´ve just finished it NOW.) just for the sake of it.

My apologies for my failure, but comments will be appreciated.

its awesome art.. Probably not what pox wanted for this contest. but its still a cool piece.
I think all the thick lines muck up the details. probably thinner outlines inside the work and a thick bold outline around each character would make it easier to see all the work better. not sure tho.

Who knows what they'll be judging upon! Pox said the only important rule is that it has to have boobs, so don't worry about whether your pose or colour scheme is correct. As long as it looks nice and has boobs on it, you're good!

I must confess that at first I didn't think yours would be very nice. But you've done a great job on the background. The only 3D we got so far, nice to see something different. Good luck!

I'm about done with the girl and it kills me to see how much time it takes me before achieving something I actually appreciate, cannot wait to jump to iller matters and go freestyle on the rest of the composition.I will be glad to hear any critics.

Some awesome work in this thread, can't wait to see some of the WIPs finished. I started an entry but the chance of me finishing is very slim, I lack this thing called motivation.

This contest has been a blast so far. There are alot of stellar entries. I'm pretty sure this one is the last for me, but I never know. I'll wait till the morning to post in the official, in case I missed something obvious...

That's ace. I like the outfit! I would probably try and clean up the outline of the figure and possibly some of the background a bit though. Possibly make the edges smoother and more defined. Other than that it is awesome. ^_^

That´s what I intended. I thought I´d fucked up already but wanted to make an art for this anyway. Thanks a lot.

I also thought of that when doing it. But I was too busy trying to beat the clock and I couldn´t find a quick solution to that... The most sensible thing in this particular case is to substitute the regular lines in the pieces of armor for vectorial objects creating a dynamic outline. I even thought of making that with the whole outline, but it would have taken ages so I had to ditch that. I was really thinking of making a new version of this, ´cause I think it hasn´t reached all its potential. But I was about to start another picture, dammit.
Oh, well. The best thing to do is work in something no matter what. But I´d appreciate some suggestions about this matter anyway.

When working with vectors and with a limited color palette, is risky, ´cause the figures will probably end up looking like colored paper cut-outs. Plus it would be difficult to suggest volume in some details. But I´ll try it eventually, when I get the knack of bitmap blending.

I suppose the thick hair's on purpose? I'd go for thinner locks, but this is probably the best one you've done, even better than the chicken head!! :D
