I just submitted my first audio submission on Newgrounds and I'd really love to see it being approved! It would be nice if someone could do that (and hopefully listen to my song as well).

Hello I am fairly new to newgrounds. I posted one of my first audio's almost a week ago. When I check my stats it doesn't show that I submitted any audio. I am not sure if this is a glitch of some sort or if my stuff is still being reviewed. If I could get some assistance I would be really grateful.

I can't see any of my songs in the audio portal ;-;. I think this is the right thread to post in? Anywho, thanks for your help whoever! :D

Hey I've been waiting for approval of 2 of my song since the 22nd of august. I just added two more songs as well. I need approval! Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the info, man. I was wondering how long it would take, and was getting impatient. lol

i submitted my two songs about 2 months ago, and they still aren't in the "audio portal"( I think you call it that). I've been hearing that the average time takes about 2-4 weeks. I know that the people who approve of all the audio submissions have to go through each and every one, but two months seems a bit excessive. One of my songs has 4 downloads and the other has 2, and so I am guessing that these are because of the audio moderator people.(Whatever you call them) The names of my two songs are "Chill" and "Sonic." Can somebody see if they can find them? They only show up on my page.

What programs did you use to make these tow song?

i used garageband. i know. i'm such a noob.

I think you get an email. And you can always check the audio portal and see if it is there.

I understand the wait for new songs and checking to make sure they aren't rips from somewhere else or whatever, but what about Voice Acting submissions? Can those be denied? I'm using my own voice and everything, but I'm doing a dramatic reading of someone else's fanfiction writing (of which I have permission for using, I asked him through his deviantArt if I could) and I credit him for the story in the description. I'm just worried that might knock me out now, even with all of this... (Of course, if it doesn't, I'm perfectly fine continuing to wait, as it's only been two or three days for me)

Poor mods, having to trudge through this stuff. Shame there isn't already a system place that can automatically detect/block stolen content, like there seems to be on youtube.

Still, it's to be expected with TONS of songs coming in and only limited resources to check them... and what to check them against? You guys have my sympathy and I wish I could help somehow.

I'm stacked 3 songs in queue & never rip content. For someone seeking constructive criticism on genuine work (even if it's not great), it can get discouraging.

How do you know when it's approved?
