Of course not. Whoever told you that might be referring to the fact that generally when we approve/ban tracks, we're extra careful when the tracks sound professional, but to put it bluntly, there's nowhere in the rules which states that your submission can't be too good.

Yeah, you'll be surprised how many people neglect to read the rules which are in fact right under their noses. I'd say for every three legitimate artists, there's one who isn't. It's a shame really, because 99.99% of these people don't even realise they're breaking the rules.

Sorry, you were banned. I wasn't the one who banned you but you used Magix Music Maker, and that puts all songs made with it under its own license which doesn't allow you to submit it under the Creative Commons License that NG uses.

You'll have to make a new account to get around the ban because it's permanent.

If you're talking about the Magix license, then we're not really responsible for what licenses different softwares cover. It should be up to you to check these things.

But if you mean that you wish you were informed that you were banned, while I agree with you that it would've been a lot better if you were told of it, unfortunately there is no automatic system which does this, and us moderators can easily ban 10-30 people a week, so sending PM's to each one saying why is somewhat of a hassle. Whenever you're in doubt, just PM an audio moderator (a full list of audio moderators can be found here) or post in this thread like you did.

Hope I helped, and again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. If you ever make a new account to submit audio, you can PM me and I'll see if I should approve it so you won't have to go through the whole submission process all over again. Just remember to follow the NG rules and license rules too.

It's just the first one, thankfully. If we had to approve/ban every new audio submission then we'd have to all work 24/7 to keep up, haha.

In case none of you have noticed, I make it a point to instantly go and approve/ban any unapproved artist who posts in this thread even if it's not his/her turn, simply because if you post in this thread I know you actually care about getting approved unlike the majority who just leave their submission here on NG and forget about it.

Also, posting about your approval here means you were decent enough to take some time to use the search bar or look through the threads in the forums, instead of just posting a new thread complaining.

Therefore don't be shy to post in this thread if you want a quick approval or are uncertain about your approval status.

Nope. The only way for an unapproved submission to appear in the "new submissions" section is for it to be approved before it would have left that section if you were already an approved artist.

Ouch that was a terrible explanation. Here's a better one:
Think of your unapproved submission as an invisible submission. It'll go in the Top 30 recent submissions, but it'll be invisible so nobody can see it or click on it. Even if it's invisible, it still gets pushed down by the tracks which are submitted after it. Therefore, by the time it's approved (in other words, by the time it's not "invisible" anymore), chances are that it'd have left the Top 30 recent submissions list because more tracks would've been submitted after it

Meh, still not a good explanation, but I hope you get what I mean :P. You're free to delete the track from here and submit it again so it can go into the Top 30 recent submissions list though.
