Nope. The only way to know if your submission gets approved is to constantly check.

i have been waiting since Feb, 15 as well. i am not whining or complaining but i was wondering if a song could just never get approved? i mean if the list is so backed up wouldn't it seem possible that some songs might just disappear into nothingness so the mods could eventually catch up with the list? just curious.

More than you would think (judging from what I've heard from the mods. Mostly it's just people uploading linkin park songs or so, or song which only use premade loops.

Well there is the audio portal cleaup thread where you can report rule-breaking submissions. Granted, a report button might be far more efficient, but that stuff goes here.

I know if I had to wait a few months to submit audio I'd most likely forget about it. I'm not saying the audio mods are doing a bad job (They're doing an awesome job) but they do need some sort of help.

What I heard is they need a better system to work with, but I can't judge that myself.

guys, cut the mods a fucking break. They are almost a 1000 submissions behind, you think they are looking forward to that?!?! I really suggest that you get more audio mods, to help lessen the load.

3 more songs last week, the first two still haven't been approved! Doesn't take that long to listen all fiv together, what... 10 mins of music?I've lost my patience, this waiting time is abnormal, so say those I asked before, and it'd be strange to wait another month, also annoying and irritating.

Unfortunately, the mods are extremely busy now and last I heard there are around 900 submissions waiting to be approved. Don't be surprised if your submission takes over a month or even more to be approved, since the mods are so busy nowadays :(.

Still, if you didn't use any copyrighted samples, didn't make the song out of loops, didn't steal the song (obviously) and didn't grab a MIDI file and just change the instruments, then you should be alright and have nothing to worry about.

The current moderators nominate and vote on who should be the next new moderator, normal users don't get to interfere with that. Plus I doubt more mods will help much, an improved system would be a better option.
