Lol = Laugh Out Loud

When you type "lol" on msn, newgrounds etc. do you actually Laugh Out Loud, or do you just say it as a habit?

LQTM is a little more truthful. And I try to stay away from using "lol", "rofl", etc.

You know, "haha" or something like that. I still don't laugh, I mean, it's not as if you talk everything you type. Right?

I have never heard this before. I'm just guessing that people don't actually laugh, but find it more humorous. Usually saying lol is a sign that its actually not funny.

I say it just to make people feel better when they try to make me laugh and when I'm actually laughing.
