My First photoshop - Rate please

This is my very first photoshop image. Can i please have some constructive critisim. Yes I know people can do a lot better.

What would be really awesome is if you took this and made is a part of another picture.

Well, I add lens flare to my paintings from time to time....of course they never turn out right so, I guess you might have something there.

its alright, but whenever you add lens flair you need to make sure there is enough light in the picture for that to be realistic, the edges of the clouds need to be lighter, more light coming through etc. nice job though

It's not bad! something I might recommend you try to do is try and recreate it from scratch without the photo! Would be a great way to learn photoshop. It doesn't appear to me that there is anything in the image that couldn't be created using standard filters and effects in Photoshop! (It's how Iearned it)

but yeah nice work! (though I do a gree with the lens flare comment about making that look realistic with the amount of light!....)
